1.The "MT"decoder is for the maintenance tank ,we also have other decoder for for the cartridge 2.Easy to use,please check the  following instruction:  

1).   Please turn off the power.2).   take out the original maintnenace chip from the maintenance tank 3).install the original maintenance chip on our MT decoder,remark,the original chip's three pins and four pins should be contacte with MT decoder's three pins and four pins.(such as the picture showing) 4).Pull the cable line out of the printer, and then connect the cable line with our 3880 maintenance tank's decoder. After that you can use the printer with our decoder.(such as the picture showing)
